Plesk 8.1 control panel offers you the following new features (compared to Plesk 8.0):
AWStats support - AWstats is a powerful statistics program which creates advanced statistical reports by analyzing log files. If both AWstats and Webalizer are installed on the hosting server, you can choose the statistics program on a per domain basis.
Backup function enhancements - You can now back up data to and restore them from FTP repositories.
Access to Webmail for mobile users - Now mobile users can work with their mailboxes from WAP phones or PDAs.
Ruby support - Plesk 8.1 adds support for Ruby and Ruby on Rails script languages. Ruby and Ruby on Rails support can be turned on by enabling FastCGI on a domain.
Access to royalty free images and stock photos for your sites - Now, to buy pictures from Fotolia at 20 percent discount, you can use a link in your control panel (Domain name > Buy Pictures).
